As title....wrapper does it's thing, but stops once bale is wrapped. Press start again, and it completes tip/cut, ready to go again.
What have I got wrong?
(was fine first session yesterday, then started doing this at start of 2nd session,,,,I've tried turning box off and restarting)

TIA anyone.

I’m far from an expert, but I think that is to do with picking the wrong automated wrap sequence. In the control options there are around 4 options (called things like r94). One of those options wraps the bale but leaves you to manually tip the wrapper. Another one completes the whole cycle automatically. This has happened to me in the past.

I suspect as much, but I'm pretty sure i followed usual start up procedure. 'Sausage fingered klutz' problem maybe.
I'll have a look ...more to do.
(could not get grass fit last few days...the ground is so wet the hay was damp underneath all the time)

needed to flip through to 'continuous cycle'....which had somehow turned itself off.
Back shipshape now.

Just to use this thread for a recommendation, in case anyone is searching mchale wrapper remotes, I used this guy for a repair when I messed mine up trying to sort the very flimsy wiring to the battery, which was getting worse every year.
£300 odd for a new 1.
£26 including return p&p for a repair from this guy

Was just going to say you need to select continuous cycle.
On mine you have to do so on each startup.
Thinking that's part of the sequence- that'll be pressing the downward pointy 'arrow'.
But how it turns itself 'off' I'm unsure.
Got a few more to do this arvo....lets see what it says.

While we’re discussing wrappers, does anyone know where to buy a replacement plug (the one with 2 screws on it) to go in the bottom of the control box. Someone stamped on mine, and I don’t know who is even the Mchale agent in Essex!

Few years ago at work I was changing the wrap which had ended bang on a finished bale got tipped so the wrapper was in the start position ready.

Put the new roll on and used the remote to put the wrap in the knife ram. As I cleared up the old tube and box I put the remote on the loadall mudguard.

Am sure you can guess the rest. Went back to fetch another bale and reached for the remote only to find it not being there. Straight under the wheel, nothing left.

That was probably 10 or 12 year ago and a new one was £250 then. 😭
