Hello.

I just purchased a second hand McHale v660 baler. How do I tell which hydraulic line is the free flow return? There are 3 hydraulic lines mixed up all with the same fittings. Obviously two are for the door and the third is the return. All go into a metal control box so not sure which is which. Thanks, Simon

Thanks Simon

Has it still got the coloured rings on the pipes? Red rings are the door. Blue rings and a pipe with a tap on are for the pickup real/drop floor and a single pipe with a yellow ring on is the return pipe.

Can you not follow them back. 1 with tap is for pickup, dropfloor etc. See if you can find 1 to go with it.

On mine one of backdoor pipes has long metal bit before probe.

Mine are cable tied in pairs. Single 1 is return. It won't do any harm if in wrong hole. Will just p!ss oil out valve block under where net sits. Could perhaps trace the pipe back from that valve block. To identify it .🤷

Thank everyone. I do have the two additional lines for the pickup height. These are easy to tell apart because they are a different diameter hose. I think I have enough information from all this to deduce the correct lines. They do all go in to the block valve. Really appreciate the help.
Cheers, Simon
