measuring atmospheric limits

Location
West Wales
We have planning in for an extension on a dairy shed to increase numbers marginally. We have been asked to run a simulation using the SCAIL system to show our levels of NH3 PM10 and Odour. I am assuming this is something thats come over from the pig and poultry side due to the housed nature so wondered if anyone had any idea on scale. IE apparently we currently have a NH3 level of 2663 which will increase to 2875. The person im meant to deal with is annoyingly unreachable currently so i have no clue if this is a safe level or no where near. Guidance would be appreciated.

What are the units the measurement was made in? Find that out and then compare to ammonia’s dangerous concentration - the most appropriate is probably the “Workplace Exposure Limit (WEL) from here:

This seems less about workplace exposure and more about potential atmospheric pollution deposition at local receptor sites such as SSSI 's.
If the deposition at these sites from ALL sources reaches a "critical level " then further development may be prohibited.

So what are the units then, and what is the threshold? I'd suggest a chat with a friendly EA person, if you can find one.
Various units depending on whether the potential pollutant is ammonia, nitrogen or ammonia and the threshold is a bit blurry depending on the nature of the receptor habitat.
Trying to get hold of anyone in the EA is proving very hard let alone anyone who knows anything about this.
But we think we have produced something that might allow a box to be ticked so we will see
