The regeneration/burn symbol was flashing.so started the process but it doesn't seem to complete the cycle and the warning buzzer and ad-blue are still flashing.
Will it be a dealer job? Cheers

Not a dealer job unless you have left go into derate
Machine needs to be above 90 degrees on temp handbrake on, red key in the middle position (boom locked)
Cab fans off
Push the regen button for 2 secs the machine should rev up.
It will take between 45 minutes to an hour

Make sure your add blue is full. Ours does this now and again have to leave it sitting with just the ignition on for about 20 mins until the sensor tests the add blue. Have to say our sensor has just gone wrong and have a machine now in limp home mode since 23rd December, the part is held up at customs due to brexit! The dealer has given me a new machine to keep me going

They can be fussy about the quality of the add blue. Make sure your add blue isn’t stored outside in the sun for instance. Anyway I’ve been instructed in the past when getting the sensor error to drain the add blue tank (on the merlo!) and refill with fresh. It then takes it ages to reset itself. The drain for add blue tank is underneath the tank and requires the Allen key stored in little tool box in cab. I forget what size it is.

Apologies to the OP if your prob is a regen issue rather than the add blue sensor issue - which seems quite common I’m led to believe.

Hi , managed to clear it eventually.had to do the re gen 3 times.the last time it did it for nearly an hour.in the book is says 20-30 mins .
I've never had one quicker than 45 minutes to be honest. It should only need doing ever 1050 hours

Different machine but my jcb came up needing a regen on 750hrs,did the cleaning cycle but it still didn’t clear the red light,I had to hitch a trailer on and go for a long drive and find some hills to work it hard to clear the light, took about half hours driving to get it cleared
