metal detecting corby kettering area

I am trying to find land to detect on around the corby kettering area, it is becoming harder to to pursue this hobby as many clubs now offer money for land and have organised digs with up to fifty people making it harder for individuals to find land to detect on.
With that in mind if anyone has areas of woodland i would love the chance to detect in them as they can be productive . I have full insurance through the ncmd and always respect the land i detect on leaving it as i find it. I can also offer checks on livestock paddocks detecting in all metal mode and removing steel and iron that could cause injury and unwanted vet bills. I work long hours during the week as a truck mechanic so would mainly detect on weekends . Thankyou for reading and if you have anything to offer then please get in touch

no is the simple answer to much money being offered by groups at the moment to take over dig areas which leaves the individual looking for clubs to join and most of these are internet based . there was a local dig a while back but couldnt get on it as the spaces went quick , have given up looking now as prefer to detect on my own or in a small group as cant be bothered queing up with fifty odd people all trampling the same field. a lot of the groups now offer a 50% split with the farmer on finds over a thousand pounds i used to offer 50/50 on anything but still had no luck. my main search areas i prefer are old wartime sites ,airfields, training grounds, and billets but very hard going to get permission
