I can remember watching this work as a boy after a stubble burn (or was yours the one on the sprayer) I am less than a mile from there place, they still have one of the bigger ones. I will have to come and meet you and try to persuade you to let me have a go on it one day!

Mine was on the sprayer, but I think they both were at different times. The other one was a lot rougher than mine I think.
That 1505 sounds a beast! That used to be Fishers, opposite me. It spent weeks one autumn split in two just over the road from here. You can see clearly on it where Keebles plated it up. I think it was swiftly replaced with an FW60!
Was it you rode in my Axial Flow a couple of harvests ago, opposite Joyces farm? I'd got it to replace my NH 8080.

I used to have a limited edition IH 956XL had a load of fancy stripes on her. Fantastic puller!
I know the decal pattern you mean. Someone on one of the Facebook pages was asking about them the other day, wanting a set for repainting his tractor, I think.
I think Joyces had got a bit too big to be enjoyable for the organisers, amongst other things. That's the problem with getting something so right, it gets too popular, too big, and therefore not what it was that made it so right in the first place!

Here's my old girl. Nowhere near as pretty (and the steering pump isn't doing what it should at the moment either), but I think she's only got 2700 hrs. And I know that's genuine because I've known her since the day she was delivered to the farm down the hill from here!View attachment 83042
I have a 1200 in similar condition but a done a lot of hours. Clock showing nearly 1000 hours so I'm assuming it's round the clock. It's got a steering problem too. it's fine in low multi power but steering heavy in high

That's how mine started, now it's like trying to arm wrestle Popeye just to move it round the yard.
It's on the list, but it's going to be the spring before it gets in the workshop to get looked at. (It's a very long list!)
