Any info on above?
what sort of money do they go for?
Anyone know of one lurking in a shed somewhere?

would love to get my hand on one one day!
Up until about 6/7 years ago they didn't command big money, I ran one up until 2010 some spares can be a big issue now particularly the brake components and doing a clutch on one is very entertaining!!,,but the problem now is you don't see many being broke! Because as time goes on everyone wants to keep one back regardless of its condition! Some rough stuff like rusted out boat launchers and forestry handlers are fetching 5/6 grand on e bay! When is the last time you seen one on there?
For all there inadequacy, I liked em and regret selling mine now!! But you can't have everything I guess, I will post some pics !!

Did you find one ? I fella near me has a 1200 he was on about selling . There was a 1250 made about £20'000 in a farm sale nr bury st Edmonds a couple of months ago,,

This is mine I've owned for 8 years now it's been a good tractor used for sub soiling , discing and a bit of ploughing with a four furrow Dp7.
Any ideas on the value ?its only done 3500 hrs and in good original condition.

this is not a bidding match , but that looks new and with that little work done has t to be big money, if it was in the right sale could be 40/50k , i came across a guy on ebay that does jd tractors and he pays lotto prices

Don't get rid of it yet! I've still not come and measured it up to try and make some engine panels and light brackets up for mine.
It's only been about three years since I said I'd pop over!!
up till the last 2 years they had bottomed out at about 5k but with the last 2 years they are starting to become dear , i would not let it go for less than 15k but it will only go up in price from now on but i would not be doing any more work with it

Mick if you took it to cheffins auction in April I would be surprised if it didn't command £10000 plus, they are getting very collectable now because of the passing of time. Finding one like yours that hasn't been used for forestry or hauling boats in and out of the sea, and complete with side panels and rear light stalks also bumps up the value!! Although there is a company manufacturing the rear light bars now,I very much doubt your hours are correct! Unless your the original owner these tractors are normally worked hard when purchased not used around the farm for lighter duties!! You could list the tractor on eBay put on a ridiculous reserve and see what it reaches? But I wouldn't bother until the spring that's the best time, I sold mine in 2010 for £6500 it was in good condition also, there are certain parts impossible to get and the problem is very few now are broken for spares, for sure they weren't everybody's cup of tea limited pto and weak back end but there isn't a tractor built that hasn't got some limitations I guess and hindsight is no use to anyone !!

Hi, when I brought the tractor it had sat in a barn for 15 years , they brought from a dealer in Lincolnshire it had come from a farm that used it with a sprayer mounted on the rear tub so I believer he hours to be correct .
