MF 3075 spools and steering won't work

Out bale wrapping today and all of a sudden the wrapper stopped, also lost the steering and the tractor lost drive, Its a dynashift so I take it it needs the hydraulic pressure to make the dynashift work ?

I put a new big spin on filter on but that didn't help and I cleaned the insert filter best I could in the field but that didn't help either.

I am thinking the hydraulic pump has packed up but seems strange it went all of a sudden unless the pump drive shaft has sheared or some such ?

Any ideas anyone ?

It could be a couple of things
1 it could be the hyd pump has seized and sheared the driving gear off
2 it could be the driving hub in the centre of the flywheel has stripped the spines.

The part I don't understand is the fact it doesn't drive as the tractor will have a manual clutch and won't require oil pressure (dynashift doesn't need pressure in d ratio)

First thing I would suggest is remove the speed sensor from the r/h hyd cover
You will be able to see the pump gear
Crank the tractor to see if it's rotating

Look at your pto shaft with the engine running. If its the drive hub in the flywheel the shaft will be completely stationary. If its a sheared pump, the shaft will be idling round as there will still be drive to it but no pressure to the brake. You should still have drive tho as d dynashift doesn't need pressure.

I did think it should still go in one gear,
could it be something at the flywheel so both drives are lost ?

Just had a look and the PTO doesn't move at all no matter where the leaver is.

Yes it's strange it stopped driving. I'm pretty sure I remember being at a 3000 series once that had a wet clutch assumed there was maybe some prototypes before the 61 came out.

The key in the drive gear on the pump had sheared,
I have not seen it but mechanic says the pump is hard to turn

The pumps can fall to bits inside and jam up, that's what courses the key to shear. Hope the gear hasn't spun on the shaft too long and damaged the taper. The pumps are available for a reasonable price but the gear will probably cost more than the pump.
