Mf 6400 linkage switch

Having problems with linkage, when ploughing for example, tractor starts to lift the plough. I tried calibration, but the linkage suspension button doesnt seem to do anything

I removed the lift/lower rocker switch from the armrest to check it but the wires pulled off the black connector block. Somebody had broke all the locking tabs.

Does anyone have a picture from the connector wires? i do not know in which order the wires go?
Thanks

You sure it’s not draft sensor does exactly as describe if it’s not set right

you can open the switch and clean the contacts

We have a 6480 that the position will stay where it is set when the oil is cool, but when it is hot ,has a mind of its own and will lift the arms to the hight you need to trip the pick up hitch. Had a mf man out to it ,but it wouldn't misbehave then.

I have been studying the workshop manual, for the rocker switch wiring, but it doesnt quite match
Number 7 (red) should be 10v supply
2 (white) : signal
Black should be ground?
There is also two wires from the quick soil engagement button? (ac13-3, ac13-18)

The earlier linkage rocker switches often gave trouble, erratic linkage movements etc, put in a new one and your problems will probably go away. If not then at least you have eliminated the cheapest possible problem!

Yeah, might be. The problem is intermittent with the plough rising.im thinking i need to check load sensing pins and wiring also linkage position sensor. Could not get the linkage calibration done as the anti bounce button does not work.

Try swapping the linkage panel with another one to see if the anti bounce works.

Regarding the plough rising does your tractor have wheel slip control on it
Also check to make sure the lift cross shaft isn't slack making it move side to side
What number have you the draft sensitivity set to
