Mf 8925 shuttle problems

Hi, my mf 8925 telehandler has stopped going into forward or reverse, it was working perfectly and I jumped out, left it running then when i tried to move it again - nothing happening other than the reversing buzzer.. It had done this very randomly a few times before but starting and stopping the engine seemed to reset things and worked again. Unfortunately this time that's not happening. I've had a quick look at fuses and relays but doesn't appear to be anything like this. Anyone any ideas?

Check the switch under seat, if it's got one, seen the same problem on other makes.

Hand brake switch also worth checking.our cat won't movie unless it's I'll the way down

Bobcat, same as a t2566 as far as I know

Any luck with the 8925 mine suddenly stops dead normally when hot. When cold works fine. Did you get it fixed?

Hi Chris, ours was the transmission ecu, it was £1800 but got it away.

My 8925 works OK when cold but after 20 minutes grinds to a halt in gear. When cool off we go again . Did you get yours fixed?

First check the blink code on the ecu next to fuse box. Decode these blinks in the manual. These machines suffer with brittle wires . The speed sensor for the pump/ Ecu is on the starter ring gear. Open bonnet ,look down the left side of the engine behind the starter or take off starter access panel. Check for broken wires going to sensor. Check continuity on sensor and voltage on loom ( not sure but think it’s 5 v ). Also if starter has been playing up it could be burrs on the ringgear that have damaged the speed sensor

Hi Steve I'm not sure on the heat sensor but some machines go off the coolant temp sensor usually on the cylinder head of the engine. I could be wrong though, thanks!!
