MF pickup hitch pins

Does anyone know if it’s possible to by non dealer supplied pins for a 5600 series Massey that hold the hook in place . Genuine ones are an extortionate price

decent machine shop would make you a batch of them for the price of 1 from stealer

Just buy one from dealer for 1 pin the time and hassle won’t be worth it. Think we’ve had over 20 tractors with that pin on and not bought one yet. Apart from when we sheared the whole pickup hitch and we had to had a complete new one

What make hitch is it, my dromone hitch lost a pin like that and I bought one from a local dealer who deals with lynx engineering who make dromone as it was cheaper than massey dealer. Think it was around £25-30 from memory.

Good reminder. I've had a hitch with just one pin for a while. Forgot to lock it back in one day and went for a run round the hill. One pin was near the hook fortunately but the other has never turned up.

How much are MF for one?

qtp have a fair few bits for massey hitches the only thing i cant find is the lift rods, certain sizes the last time i was needing one were stealer only!!!

Trouble was that was the only 1 out of 2 left on the hitch , took the picture awhile ago to see if I could get one from alternative source as last one I bought from the dealer was about £45 . Thanks for the information on suppliers
