I have a MF65 and a 135. Could anyone tell me whether the red paint for the tinwork and the grey for the chassis/wheels would be the same shade on both tractors?
I have decided to put some more paint on them both to prevent rust getting worse.

I know this no immediate help, but if you can find the other page it may be what you want.

I’m sure the purists will and could certainly argue all year about the correct colour, in the meantime I would strongly suggest the seven P’s to ensure your paint does what it is supposed to;

Prior and proper preparation prevents pee poor performance.

I am just doing a sympathetic tidy up on a MF65 Mk2 and according to Sammy Neil it is BMW Hellrot Red 314.
You can contact him on Massey Ferguson Worldwide on FB

You're going to like this, but perhaps not too much. According to Darren Tebbitt .. who wrote that MF Paint Colour article in Classic Tractor May 2015 and who knows ;) , you need the following:-

MF 65 Mk 1 - MF 'Dark' Red
MF 65 Mk 2 - MF 'Super' Red
MF 135 - MF Super Red

Having said all this, opinions have been known to differ :rolleyes:
