Might as well pack up

If government needs to ration food the first thing to do is close down intensive meat production and transfer the grain to humans. Not plough up sensitive grassland. This morning I have eaten two Shredded Wheat, and could do same twice more today. If that wheat were fed to a pig, chicken or finishing beast there would be a loss of energy keeping the animal alive while producing meat, so a conversion to protein. Albeit a piece of meat is tasty. Just sayin'

You risk been hung, drawn & quarted

You are right but more of a case of bit less livestock, bit more cropping.

I bet if you tried to eat Shredded Wheat like that by the third meal you would start to become ill.

Herbivores can live on marginal land such as next to rivers that flood - they can even eat in the river. Land above the tree line and even mountain tops. In woods, scrubland and even make such areas more beneficial for other habitats, plants, birds and mammals.

Goats can live on cliff faces in Winter.

Animal feed is not necessarily edible for humans - such as fungi which are harmful to health. High quality cereals have lower yields and take more resources/fertiliser to grow.

So it seems the Russians are starting to hit western Ukraine to disrupt the supplies coming from Poland.
Is that the main breadbasket area?
If so, with the Russians restricting wheat and fert exports, the squeeze is coming...

ps theres no joy in shredded wheat, even more tasteless than Weetabix imho.

I see this thread is still quite busy . If I was worried would be some cancellation orders or the product would be delivered and sold on with the premium .
