Milk auction up twice in a row. Up 1 Euro.
Bit on FW and looks like they were, so farmers had invested lot of money then Arla are dumping them.I’m sure they were recruiting goat milk producers last summer

Bit strange that they aren't paid up owners.
Perhaps @farmer on a bike can tell us more.
How much is it to buy into Arla at the moment? Do you pay per litre of fat corrected milk or a litre what ever the composition?
There has never been ownership associated with goat milk. Contracts were offered in a similar way to any private company buying milk. There was no buying in or capital contribution associated with goat milk. Unfortunately since Arla have been losing money on goat cheese then it was decided it was in the best interests of the owners to get out of it.
Whats caused the crash in goat milk price/demand? Over production?
Arla should release price 23rd Jan . Got caught out last time as date changed .
Got caught out again! Now looks like being the 25th.
how will the rest of the industry cope! Especially the milk processors. the anticipation on what they will have to pay for milk must be killing them !Got caught out again! Now looks like being the 25th.
