It's good to see the muller farmers board actually trying to fight this unjust cut .
Lots of press coverage today with their veiws being aired strongly !
I hope that muller take note and rethink .

i think its about 150,000 litres a day moving over at the end of march. think milk solids wouldnt be great and the gold cup qualified had enough of the farm assurance side. which i worried about but doesnt seem to bad tbh

Real question that needs to be ask is who pulling muller strings could it be Tesco ? As for the muller farmers groupe have we seen all the board stand down from there Jobs? No it don't affect them all with gold plated supermarket contracts. Just talking and no action. As you can tell I am pee off

Think you'll find its Theo Muller pulling strings, he wants a return on investment.

i think id be peeved if i was already a supplier and these guys just coming across are getting so much of their milk on a premium contract. Before theyve been offered one

Yes it's not how much milk you produce but who you know. I can just remember the MMB days at leat that was fair. But saying that we never had a contact paying a premium ie supermarket one I think I tell were to stick it if they offered me one.

? Is it now time to leave muller and move to arla ? Been told arla have a lot of new bands that are hard to meet so that why people are joining muller.
Why would moving to arla be the only option. There are other processors. We're with yew tree and it's the best move we ever made. Very clear contract, yeah you get the lows but you also get the highs.

Point 1 . If that's what you want to do, go and stand outside of a factory , nobody's stopping you !

Point 2. Muller has not forced it's farmers on to different contracts and prices , they have offered the opportunity for producers to consider and choose to except or not !!

Point 3. Get behind your producer representatives and support them and their voice becomes louder and stronger .
I'm sure muller loved to see the headlines in all the farming press (not!!)with the very strong statement from your mmg board.
Was that the comments of a muller PR team? I don't think so !
Have you phoned muller yourself to back up their statement on your behalf ?

I was reading an article the other day from 2012. It said that you would need £299 to have the same spending power as £100 in 1982. Beer had gone up 336% and fuel nearly the same but milk was 130%.......
Value of money approximately halves every 10 years.

Its called inflation.
Food inflation is lower than any other as it keeps the masses happy with greater discretionary spending.
