Ah yeah interesting. I see what you mean, so in theory our prices for say non-aligned milk here in the UK should be significantly higher now if we have a weaker currency alongside higher global dairy prices in US or NZ dollars?
You need to cut glanbia out the equation Ricky, the grasslamic extremists of the island where going to build a plant, couldn't you sink a few mil into that and keep it in house?

As a supplier, I'm glad they are making a profit. They have invested a serious amount in their new drying plant , which is giving us a good home for our spring (and rest of the year) milk

Doesn't Mozzarella take a while to make? There's a plant up the road here that's supposed to have found a way to make it faster but I'm not sure how hard its running. I think it's supposed to be able to make enough to top half a billion pizza's a year

Fonterra has raised its payout forecast to $6.90-$7.50 KG/MS so it's getting up there now.
Synlait's at $7.20. Oceania pays the same or a bit more than Fonterra I think, don't know about Open Country and the others.
No idea what that works out at in pence per litre though.
