any other elements to their pricing, eodc? bonuses? be great to compare against barbers
bonuses are similar, bacto and cc bands are more generous with wyke, the big difference, is if you slip into a 'deduction' band, you not only lose the 'deduction' but also your 1.5 pence assurance, for the whole month. Prices are going to rise, and you can be certain, every dodge any processor can think of, to negate some of the rise, they will use !

You are quite correct about the penalties. barber always seem to be 0.5ppl ahead of wyke so its the risk we take I suppose. One producer was paid 33.8ppl for Dec milk 5.1% fat, 3.8% protein. I think that is a disgrace.

Iv been told by two different parties that Arla are only able to offer such a good UK price due to farmer members on the continent producing milk which they are currently able to trade very well, this is then distributed to all members, is this true?

What’s roddas doing any increase yet?
January - March is 34.46 I think but that's for liquid litre not manufacturing litre, from memory saputo will be 34.47 from February? So we would be ahead in January but slightly behind february and March

I adjusted roddas price for manufacturing to compare to saputo and arla a week or so ago and we are 0.15ppl ahead including the February increase (obviously don't know about march) and not too far from arla so I'm happy again
I always forget roddas announce liquid price not manufacturing which when compared to arla and saputo who announce in manufacturing its a bit disheartening!

To put it simply. I do not agree with the penalties Barbers have in place. I have not fallen foul of it yet but I have got bloody close on a couple of occasions. I accept it if we're top of the league table. SCC of 199 vs SCC of 251 is a difference of 3.4ppl that is not correct in my view. They cant even give us a half penny bonus it has to be 0.4, so thats 1.2 instead of 1.5 across the three hygiene bonuses.

For my milk Wyke will be 0.9ppl ahead of Barbers if 2ppl bonus is correct for Wyke.

Apparently EU production is back, and plenty of capacity for drying milk in France but getting milk to the continent still a massive issue.
Anyone got a link to UK or EU production data Vers last year?
