Mobile signal booster / repeater

I know someone who sends it from their farmhouse to another property they own & that then goes to their parlour. Can’t go straight from farmhouse to parlour because of a hill. Google earth says 2.76km

Vodafone some years go did sell something to boost signal, but not anymore, they now claim coverage is so good it's not needed, and they don't seem bothered about loosing a customer
Vodafone used to sell the Sure Signal units that used your broadband to create a private femtocell to registered 3G mobiles. They stopped them when WiFi calling became popular. The range of a Sure Signal was about 30 feet. Enough for an office or thin walled house, that's all.

I have microwave broadband here now from a fibre connection elsewhere on the estate and WiFi calling from the router.

as @Wesley says, WiFi calling is the dog`s wotsits
On EE it`s standard, On Voda only standard on certain (dearer ? ) contracts.
Not sure about other networks
It works on O2 also. I was on Giff Gaff but the cheapo piiggy back networks don't seem to allow WiFi calling and so I had to change. At one time the coverage for mobile signal was reasonably good, in this area. .Whether the system is over loaded or there are too many subscribers for the shared towers I don't know,

Totally reliant on wifi calling in both office and house here, using EE. It works very well but we do have fibre internet. Also got a couple of short term contracts with 1pmobile for temporary staff. These piggy back off the EE network but importantly for us the wifi calling also works on these.

It does with wifi calling. Got an outside aerial to send tinterweb to the robots. So also works for most of our farm yard as well as the house. You can have perfect phone signal in one place, walk a few yards & its gone. Wifi calling works well everywhere.
The op didn’t ask about wifi calling,I also have have wifi around the yard and had a uma phone some 10 years or more ago.

Well done you. Want a pat on the back or something?
You said what someone suggested wouldn’t work for phone signal for calls. I was suggesting how it would. In case the heat is causing memory problems…
Someone on here set up a mobile router & antenna 200 m from their yard & sent the signal back to the yard using wireless bridge kit. Involved digging a power cable
See if I can find the thread

That’s fine for data, doesn’t work with phone signal for calls.

That's how we use our system. It has been a big success.

This phone won't do wi-fi calling unfortunately.

Mrs N keeps complaining that she's always having to charge her phone, it seems it's drains quickly when it constantly trying to connect.

“Up to” 1500m2 means 22m range which is pretty poor though. Would be far better with Wi-Fi calling and a mesh network.

Fair enough, but that wasn’t what the OP asked for. He’s got signal a hundred meters away, and it’s a fixed unit he needs.

Besides, that booster in the link is mains powered and for “indoor environments”.

I didn’t specify that one exactly. I have shown that boosters are available and legal in the uk. That’s the extent of unpaid information forthcoming. Surely anyone that is now interested will do their own research and find one that suits them.
