Just to update people who may have used or are using these people, me being one of them,

They used to have a dedicated office for the agricultural side, mole name went a year or 2 ago so was just Gallaghers, but the staff or broker i had used was still the same so no problems there, and still good service,

Sadly ive discovered today after complaining (this only changed after my renewals and i was adding a vehicle to find the person i had dealt with for years had left) and speaking to a senior member of the office they have now closed the agricultural branch and the staff has left so now when you ring its a different person every time who have no ag experience, and unfortunately none of them seem to take much ownership for responding to you either, pretty poor show. I asked if they were changing this and he said no, and no single point of contact.

Needless to say i certainly wont be renewing with them, they dint seem that bothered :ROFLMAO:

Just a head up i would have had no idea had i not rung them to add a vehicle they have not explicitly told me they have sacked off the ag side along with the ag brokers.

Had a very poor experience with them at my recent renewal so they won't be getting my business next year.
They did not seem bothered really I warned them unless they got dedicated brokers I would no longer use them!

I’m just over half way and knowing how painfully slow they are at refunds I will let it run and change on renewal.

makes me laugh why buy out mole insurance as a brokers then sack off the actual farm brokers staff w then the custom leaves? surely it was a pointless purchase?

real shame must have been with them 10 years and only had 2 different people to deal with who were both excellent 😕

I believe her surname was Russell

She really was excellent, if nfu trained her, fair play they did an excellent job
It was Jan Russel yes, she was excellent I wish I knew she was leaving shortly after I renewed as I would not have bothered!
I believe she replaced Ken Doig who did used to work for nfu, he retired and Jan took his place I believe

mot did seem like they pushed out he said office closed but I’m not exactly sure what happened, their fools as they will loose all there agricultural customers

It was a very sudden exit I believe, she now works for our local knackerman

It was a really well run insurance company, such a shame
