Mouse smell in air conditioning

Hi Everyone,
Over the winter we have had mice in our Case 2388 combine. we have had it serviced before harvest and thankfully everything is okay electricalwise. However when the aircon fan is on there is a very strong smell of mouse coming through the vents. Does anyone have any ideas to get rid of the smell? We have air fresheners in the cab and they have helped however the smell is always worse with the fans. Any tips would be deeply appreciated.

Strip it all out and clean it, and kill the mouse too, I find the smell doesn't go till he does.

we've had it all stripped out and the mouse is dead. however the smell still lingers in the vents

I used an air-con sanitiser, it got rid of a lot of nasty niffs, can't remember what it was called but there is a wide selection if you google it.

Bicarbonate of soda. Sprinkle around - removes nasty niffs (and cleans drains!). Cheap too!

I came to the conclusion after a few hot weeks of harvesting that the nastiest niff was the occupant, i.e. me. Amazing that sitting in the cool all day is great until you have to get out 15 times to clear something from the header/ check on that funny noise/ empty the bladder/ point out to the corn cart driver a few facts about his parentage and eyesight etc. etc.

Better to have the smell of the mouse through the air vents than the taste of the mouse through your water taps. One fell down the borehole!

No worries. Once we realised what it was just run all the taps for a long time and chuck some hypochlorite down the hole. Sorted!

It's ok, last weekend I found a dead sheep hidden in the brackens on the bank of the spring that supplies our water.
Been there a while....
