Moving an Opico grain drier

Thanks everyone for the feedback! Much appreciated

The top auger assy, is it difficult to get off? looks like the sort of thing you would need a telehandler to get at, support and lift with
You need a jack under the bottom pulley to support the central auger, then unbolt the auger extension (teleporter required) then you need a transport plate bolted across the auger to carry the weight of the auger, then remove jack. Sold our old one several years ago to someone near Melton Mowbray - how he negotiated Grantham with it's notoriously low bridges I don't know!

Used to tow a 9 t Opico behind a tractor all over the place to contract dry on farms. Had a hydraulic unload auger, used to unbolt it and swing round to face forwards to move. Never had any bother although we took some phone wires down in a village once (the oh told me, she was following with the gas tank.)

We wanted to move our tank a few years ago and would have lifted it with the teleporter, but vetoed by Calor. Had to be emptied and craned "properly" in case it ruptured or fell off the tines!

I used to know someone who regularly contract dried fuelled by a 2 Ton propane tank ratchet strapped to a grain trailer!!

Just got to go for it!
Moved that 30 miles.
Others have paid someone else to move less than a mile! Need a can do attitude.
