Mulching machine

I’ve just planted up a hazel orchard into grassland , the trees are guarded up to 600mm using mesh guards, I want to mulch them to suppress the grass and boost fertility, looking to mechanise the process as there are quite a number of trees. So looking to buy a trailed mulch spreader, capable of accurately placing various materials ( mainly rotted fym) any ideas gratefully received .

Thanks fruitbat, point taken, I think little and often is better, I’ve bought a Perfect side discharge rotary topper to put the green matter from the alley under the trees, but there’s not enough material there yet, and the grass will start to move and compete against the trees shortly hence wanting to put imported material there now.

Thanks le Bon paysan , I’ll take a look, I have a baby telehandler and 90 Hp 4 wd tractor, and the farm is flat with a concrete loading area so a trailed machine would make most sense ? Have you seen the Agrofer machines down in the limousin?
