Mule replacement

We've had a couple of Kawasaki Mules and have been very disappointed with them. The current one is three years old and needs a new engine rebuild at a cost of £3k to £3.5k. The dealership has offered £3k for it in its current condition.

This means it has depreciated £8.6k in a little over 3 years. On top of this, excluding normal service costs, tyres etc (£2.3k) we have had to spend £7.7k on exceptional mechanical faults. In other words it has cost us nearly £14 per day (£96/week; £5k/yr) to own it, excluding normal 'wear and tear' servicing and running costs. This is unacceptable.

What alternatives are out there?

hoggs of fife do a good range other than that if you want that type of vehicle be prepaid to dig deep I’m afraid, my late father had three of the damned things, my Landrover has been substantialy cheaper and better in all respects , the best alternative you will find that will be better won’t bleed money will be a swb pickup defender , and the doors heater radio are standard.
