Muller "drain the swamp"

I would challenge Directs and Aligned contract Muller suppliers to show their figures as a % using 2014 as base year since the past 5 years is when this alleged 25% increase has taken place.
2015- 102% of 2014 production.
2016-118%
2017-96%
2018-87%
2019- projected 96% of 2014 production year.

Lets see where this 25% increase has come from.

It would be good to know how much the increase has been in the aligned pools compared to the non - aligned from the very start, I got a text message showing the figures from @Coo man but that was 5/6 years ago, and before he got a tesco contract.
Would also be good to see the figures from the retailers of how much milk they sell and how little/much of it comes from the aligned producers.

Are Tesco aligned supplier prices not linked to Tesco sales volume? I know that a few years ago some Muller Dairies had more Tesco milk than they had sales for. Changes in contracts after tendering could have a big impact as well.

Tesco pay for the milk they require not the total the aligned farms supply so aligned farms will get a percentage paid at the Tesco price and the rest at non aligned price.

It’s not any farmers fault. No point turning on each other Müller are the ones who need to answer questions.

Perhaps the Scottish government have a few questions to answer to? You can’t keep bankrolling increased production if the processors are not investing in processing capacity for whatever reason muller appears to be cutting back not increasing capacity.

You just need to jump in the car and drive over the border from here to see how much cash has been pumped into farms up there.

A nice ride down towards Stranraer and you are certain of some shed envy that’s for sure.

Never had a grant here should I add like to make that known to my neighbours who all have had them, farms with 90 acres with sheds for 600 crazy
I’ll second that it was a short period and people took the pee out of the scheme. Productivity grants like England have the now would’ve been a lot more beneficial imo
