Yes Granny, just make a hole in each end and blow ;)

I think it works like Jacques Cousteau's invention for moving silt from shipwrecks and just blows bubbles up a pipe rather than actually pumps it round. No subs pump on mine, just a 3/4 air hose.

Yes it creates an intermittent fountain inside.
Ours has a separate pumping chamber due to lack of fall to the ditch.
This is why we need a submersible pump.

Plasterboard done upstairs, all stud walls filled with fibreglass to deaden sound.
Builders have gone for a couple of weeks to rebuild a chimney that the owner has been wanting doing since November.
Just waiting for plumber to do first fix. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Why is it always the plumber?

But on the very bright side, my brother has just transferred £50k into my account. Anyone know of any Muir Hill's for sale? ;)

Must be small then for that money ?
18-25 person spec £9 K here ?
Wonder what other same spec. Bubbler and Bio Disc. Manufactures are out there ?-Anyone ???
I would never have anything that has moving parts in shite, it WILL go wrong at somepoint. the ones with a air pump that just blow air through it do the same job far cheaper, we have one that is ten years old now and has a new diaphragm evry 18 months or so, five minute job to change , still using the spares that came with it

That might not keep it quiet but will stop the calves dancing on the top of it!

Bit of a hold up, builder has finished chimney for other customer but has put his back out.
His 'lad' (62) has been diverted away (by us) to do some work at an empty rental house for next week.
He's been lining the holes in the wall

and getting ready to render when he comes back.
