Thanks Netherfield. We've learnt a lot doing this one. Next one should be quicker.

Now I've just filled in the forms for Northern Powergrid to update the electric supply to the farm.
I just want to know what's the biggest supply I can get from 'my' transformer, but they need a full list of all requirements of the farm, farmhouse and 3 cottages to 'calculate my needs'
I just want the biggest single phase supply that I can get from existing wires into farm, I'm not interested in paying for another transformer and the company director's winter jaunt to Cancun.
If it's too much money I'll just buy a big genny and tell you where to stick your brown and blue wires.

Have you asked an electrician @Nearly ? Mine told me what I'd need, then uk power said that the maximum on a single pole was 70kva for 3 phase iirc. Above that they need twin poles.

Thanks Nearly. We had ours accessed from plans but came up short. The oil fired boiler may have to be backed up with something green!
You have made a great investment with yours. Well done.
