Going with render and a coloured resin top coat.
A light grey colour, just to make it really visible from the dual carriageway.

We do look to have a lot of doors in gable end but they were there.

Sad little git that I am..... I'm fascinated by that asbestos shed in the backround.
Had one at our last place......you need some lupins and gladioli to screen yours....;):ROFLMAO:

Not much use for modern day farming anyway. Good enough as a car garage, but not much else. Couldn't even get the Ford 4000 in ours without "modifying" the doorway.

It's going in a skip. Illegal to reuse....
I have got to do this, how did you go about getting the skip? obviously came from registered person but wondered if you have to sheet it and roughly how much are they charging you? also do you need a waste transfer licence which is specially for asbestos? pm me if you like.

I've put the sheets from this building into 'secure storage' until I remove the sheets from the next project.
Then I'll have a skip which will cost £750 for the first 3t and £100/t after.
£50 for something, £50 for something else.
I'll be having a complete clearout of all the bits I come across in next 12 months.
I'm not panicing about asbestos but why cause a problem for next generation on my own farm?

Should have kept my mouth shut. Maybe it's not asbestos.......it's prototype fibre cement introduced shortly after WW2....:censored:
Jeepers...there must be 20-30 ton on roofs here....something else to worry about.:(

yes I agree we have in the past put stuff out of the way but it nearly always comes back to haunt you and you have to get rid of it in the end. I will enquire about whos local to me. I think there is a local company. thanks
