Hi. i'm looking here for someone who can help me answering questions about the farm field and crops. Im doing my last project in college and its about Farming and called monitoring system for farm field using smart phone and web application. I would love to get detailed answer from you about these questions:
1) What sort of crops in the farm?
2) What size of the farm field?
3) What are the usual risks of lost production?
4) How does the farmer monitor and keep track his farm field during the day?
5) Does the farmer access the farm field physically or remotely?
6) Does the farmer use a mobile phone in the farming business?
7) If a monitor system application is installed to let the farmer track events in the farm field, would he pay for that application?

I’ll leave any constructive comments to others, if I want to know what’s going on in my fields I’ll go and have a look, no need for expensive technology here.
Probably not the answer you’re looking for but neither is technology the answer to all farmers needs.
That’s not to say it doesn’t have its uses for others but I think it’s important to realise it isn’t for everyone.
