I’ve just x 300 by 250 working days and I’m ahead , I also have more assets , Perhaps I can afford one but choose not to , perhaps through sensible choices I’m ahead and no behind. Plumbing is a monkeys job. Electrics however is highest paid trade and rightly so but truth told a lot of farmers will still make more.
I think they look cool. I would like 1.
Thought they looked hideous initially. But they have grown on me. Same happened with D5.
Only problem is I can't afford either.
Non takenI think all the JLR vehicles are smart, I really like Range Rover sports and the D4 and D5. But then you see some of the planks that drive them, little dolly birds with their noses in the air and silly chavs and hipsters and I just think nah thanks.

I'm probably a bit of a chav and my wife a dolly bird with nose in the air.I think all the JLR vehicles are smart, I really like Range Rover sports and the D4 and D5. Ha! Best Oz line, after visiting the red light district of Dosseldorf; You reminded of oz .
I like X5’s, my neighbours are on their third, each one has been a really nice car with very little bother. If I was in the market for an SUV I would have a Merc GLS but we just don’t need that big of a car.I'm probably a bit of a chav and my wife a dolly bird with nose in the air.
My main gripe is in my experience JLR products are unreliable. Had a D4 and evoque and they were dreadful.
Got a proper chavmobile at moment.
White X5 with white leather seats and black pano roof. She bought it. I quite like it to be fair. It has a feeling of quality after sitting in Cnh tractor all day.
Mother has a newish merc and tbh it’s not in the same league in terms of build quality compared to the the BMW X3 we had in the past, which was very good reliable car if you can handle the hard ride.I like X5’s, my neighbours are on their third, each one has been a really nice car with very little bother. What .....bad to find???I did say most not all!
Mother has had four Mercs, the best was an E270 iirc it was a lovely 5 cylinder and like being sat in your fav arm chair, she also had a c class AMG, that was a lot of fun. But yes I would agree build quality got a bit worse each time she changed. She now has a disco sport, which is alright but a bit like a clitorus....
No he means, every pansy has one! What .....bad to find???
That’s not how I spell c u n TuesdayNo he means, every pansy has one!
@Hilly I've recently come across some seriously crappy 'electricians' so crappy they really don't deserve a capital letter to denote their trade f even they can call themselved 'tradesmen'. Sorry to go off subject and all but like this bad!;I’ve just x 300 by 250 working days and I’m ahead , I also have more assets , Perhaps I can afford one but choose not to , perhaps through sensible choices I’m ahead and no behind. Sorry, although I'm not a part time farmer I do nearly have a nice place and I am part time. I will buy a Grenadier after it has done three years as by then it will have overcome its teething troubles. This will replace my now elderly 110.Thankyou.
You'd think if there was that much money in plumbing and other trades people would just rent the farm out, go do them and make a fortune.
You hear of people in trades trying to save enough to buy a small place and be a part time farmer but don't see many farmers packing up and going on the tools.
Commercial vehicles seem to be aimed at those that want to dodge a bit of tax, so I'd say farmers are certainly one of the groups they are aimed at. Looking at some of the comments on here it seems quite a few of them are thinking about it too.
Are grenadier available now ? Why not just get someone to give your 110 a good overhaul ?Sorry, although I'm not a part time farmer I do nearly have a nice place and I am part time.
