Err, that's not quite right is it, you could not get 2 fords for one fendt, you might get one ford and a bit of the second.Nearly double that T6…¡

Well whatever the difference is unjustified doesn't earn you anymore!Err, that's not quite right is it, you could not get 2 fords for one fendt, you might get one ford and a bit of the second.
Valtra N174 Direct. Comparing the NH & Fendt isn't really fair as you only have the NH if you don't want to spend as much on finance each month. I went for the Valtra rather than the 516 for several reasons. The Valtra has a better engine, much nicer laid out back end, better tyre options, a nicer cab and I think it looks much better as well. I never got a quote for the Fendt but I doubt there is much in it as over a quarter of the Valtras price was optional extras. If you are buying a tractor new then a few hundred pounds more per month is nothing in the big scheme of things, spend your money make your choice.
Ive never specced a vario modelAnyone know what a comparable Valtra would be cost wise?
The 516 and 6130R etc are both 4 cylinder I guess? N series Valtra would be 4 cylinder also?

Power shift is in B range and auto when doing yard work stacking bales ect and and when you n the road C-D auto but when you need to slow down with a load over a hill ect pull back on the stick instantly back into Manuel so you can hold it backGawd, there is always one...
What price did you have quoted for the fendtJust done this pricing, fendt 516 was 9k more than Jd 6130r, only spec difference was slightly more hp and no air brakes, jd standard warranty one year full further year engine, fendt 5 years full so all in all not that much between them. Ordered a jd as preferred the cab and jd been more reliable than fendt here over the years
You won’t get any change out of £115k for a 516 profi plus
...or a Massey and you get the Valtra engine and Fendt boxTry Valtra as well. The more desirable engine with near as much capability as the Fendt.
All screwed together by a frenchman?...or a Massey and you get the Valtra engine and Fendt box

Your right, but in the Claas equivalent with the jd engine it runs up to 165 hp, so it must be safe to erm up the jd using the right guy, not that I would entertain that....honest.A 130r needs a bit more power to keep up with a 516, JD are missing a trick by not having a directly comparable model imo.
