Were you not happy with the 6150.4?
Yes, I'd have been even happier to find a second hand TTV to replace it, but those particular drops of rocking horse poo were in very short supply

Definitely landed on my feet finding the N4 valtra direct that replaced it. Lovely comfy new cab on a very well thought out and engineered tractor, even if it (was) 40hp less than the Deutz, and by comparison drinks almost as much as a Deere (and arguably the operator 😜)

Ddon't even need to go that far back. 2015 I bought a brand new autopower full suspension 6125r for £51k , today they are asking £88k for them with 2k hours on the clock ! Bit higher spec but still mad for 2k hrs

I watched the video for the new tractors and the Deere sales person is making out as if they are pioneers for fitting a 185hp engine into a medium framed tractor! They arent, theyre late, Claas, MF CNH, Fendt have all had 155R sized machines pushing out around 180hp rated power for 5 or more years!!
That being said the new 6185R looks a very nice place to spend the working day.

There's remaps and remaps though. There's many many people out there can plug a laptop in and stick a generic map on. If you want a proper map tractor needs to be on dyno
We've put a generic remap on a t5 engine and it has transformed the tractors performance. Putting it on a dyno next week to see how much extra hp it has given it and difference I'm torque figures. It was dyno'd before so will be interesting to see before and after figures. Dealer recommended this remap as we were moaning about the tractors performance.

He's coming back today to remap another tractor.

Why do you say every remap needs a dyno? If there same engine from same manufacturer I wouldn't think they would vary much.

A 155 makes a 724 look small and its def more nimble.

You are correct, they only custom map cars that are individually modified, tractors are not there just stock so stock maps from a decent provider should be fine

they just tweak certain maps up a bit

That's what I thought. The guy that digs lakes post made me think that wasn't the case.

Most remappers don't seem to have dynos

Cool. Will await your offering to the demo thread with interest. Also, if you didn't like the Claas handler try out a Kramer. I think Redlynch sell them from memory? Might be wrong.

Had a 516 out a few weeks ago but with old style armrest,Redlynch are jcb now and smarts (hunts) sell Kramer

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
