I know someone who bought something new for £1500, it burst tyres constantly, even though he blew them up to the manufacturers recommend pressure, and in no time at all the whole frame twisted. He complained to the manufacturers and they said words to the effect "Sorry can't help you, take it up with the place where you bought it" He said he had never ever bought such expensive rubbish .
What was it? A Bugaboo twin stroller!😮

Our pram was/is a work of art and we got some serious use out of ours, I was quite protective of it at one stage. I used to joke with clients: you reckon buying and speccing a tractor is difficult, you ain't seen nothing yet. More options and accessories than you can shake a stick at. Materials and fabric designs that would not look out of place in a Porsche dealership. Tell me what else in the world is made out of magnesium??! The chassis of our pram is made out of it.

My other half is a bit of a geek and trailed us round the country looking at prams and buggies etc - Christ it was boring. Anyway after much deliberation she bought a Mountain Buggy Swift and what a piece of kit it is. Her geeky ness really paid off, it’s been a great buy. That is one of the many reasons I affectionately call her ‘head office’.
