Hundreds of houses get underpinned every year cant see a problem with that, they just dont like losing their power

Thought I read somewhere a while back that the new Permitted Development Right (agri buildings to dwellings) stops this April. Cannot find any info to back this up when searched, anyone know? @blondeagadvisor Obviously they could change their minds anytime!

Also the rules seem to say that the conversion needs to be complete within 3 years not started?

Thanks

Never ever ever believe anything a planning officer tells you, they think they are above the law. Took us ten years and £50,000 to beat our local planners in west wilts, it was proved they broke the law made up evidence and surpressed other stuff that backed our case. pansies
did you manage to claim any of your costs back at appeal

No we were advised by our barrister not to put a claim in for costs, wasnt happy but did take his advice which was to go through the ombudsman afterwards, so reluctantly we agreed the ombudsman was useless there response was "well you won the case so whats the problem", have a long memory though and one day we will get our justice, at least being a mile from the council offices every time the drive by they are reminded of it

Hi. I am new to posting on the forum. We got prior approval for a barn conversion with help from the blonde ag advisor. Just finishing the conversion. We have a 5m diameter grain silo. We thought it would be interesting to convert it into a one bedroom guest house. Has anyone applied to convert a silo under class q and were you successful. Thanks.
