Kuhn here for a long time and we're definitely what you would call a stoney place we occasionally break a tine holder but not often in the really bad bits just shut the pto revs back and getvthe forward speed up and it copes fine
the other thing about an amazone is the tines are swept back so they tend to push the stones down we had a 4mtr kg on a power harrow combi and it never gave any trouble and believe me we have stones i have had neighbours with alsorts of p harrows and they have broken tines and shafts but we had none of that with the k g
Pick anything over 8 to 9 inch that's visibly big and the it's surprising how many it will knock back into the groundhow do you manage with stone picking
stone picking if its big we use the teli handler other wise i pick when im rolling in if it wont push down i pick ithow do you manage with stone picking
That seems good way to wreck a machine1:37
Im looking at a new 3 m power Harrow , we have plenty of stones so which Harrow is the best on stoney soil. I'm thinking Amazon or Kuhn or Pottinger, I have two pottingers already but they changed their one piece tine to two single tines and a new adaptor plate for the older models , but it keeps breaking bolts and is not a good job. Are the new pottinger with their quick fit tines a success. So of the three which is the best.
No are they good with stones ?Have you looked at Lemken?

No as 12 rotors so you need to run them at slow speed or you rake all the stones to the end of the fieldHave you looked at Lemken?
