Was the cherry picker necessary?
and its quite safe to lye on the floor with a leg under a cherry picker that another man is actively driving.
They don't work for me ;-) great bunch of guys though
This is what frustrates me about H&S with contractors. Technically they are your responsibility and you are liable. Seems crazy to me....they have their own brain, and are told how to do the job by their boss. But the law says.....
I was going to build my own mezzanine in our new workshop out of a heap of old RSJs but that looks smart. Who did it?
Old it was slightly used ,it will need shot blasting very well if you going to get it galved and don't forget to drill the handrails for venting the air and zinc from the inside of the tubes, looks a nice job and will make some handy roomSame company that put the shed up - M J Barrett
It will be sheeted to the roof to created 2 rooms
Bought a old staircase from a TFFmember that we have made alterations to fit, got to go to galvanisers yet though

when ever we make new stairs they always take longer and cost more than you think, like all building projects i supposealready adapted the had rail to suit, got to be cut down about 2 steps but was to try it in place before blasting and galv so we don't have to make any alterations after its coated
will be a good job I think and saved a fair bit over the quote for new stairs !
Should be warm in there, The shelters have been a bit heavy handed with the screws on the vertical panels and pulled them in a long way on the face of the sheet
