just starting to look at mounted sprayers,
At the moment got a 20m 1200l hardi which works well with our 4m drill.
not sure which to go for another 20m or 24m. but does 24m work well with a 4m drill.or 28m ally boom.
hope this makes sence.

4m drill with a 24m sprayer you'll need to do a half drill width when you start if you want to put both tramline marks in together, i think there is a way to put 1 wheel mark in at a time to work on even number of drill runs but it's more hassle than it's worth, we've just gone onto a 28m sprayer this season with 4m drill so no need to do half run as it's an odd number of drill runs for 28m

iam not keen on the 24m for that reason.but spoke to the hardi man at cereals he said most have 24,28 hardly sell any at all, stay 20 for driver friendly use.i like the idea of the 28m.

Just moved from 20 to 24m to be same as backup / contractor / neighbour.
No hassle to overlap the drill a half width on headland.

Went from 24m mounted amazone to 28m trailed amazone in the spring,24m is a pain in the arse with a 4m drill,28m boom doesn't feel much bigger either,go 28m.

We run a 24m Vicon ixter with a 4m drill, you only need a half width on the first headland bout, every 6th run is a tramline when going up and down the field

24m, you might buy a 6m drill, I drill with 4m and 6m just need the half width start, isnt really a problem.

24m tramlines you only really need a half width to start the field then use the end of a drill width for you're endrig no tramline needed

The new Kuhn you get a shut off on every pipe so you can turn them off manually or you could put a full set of electric ones on so you can then select a half width on the box and tell it which side you want to do it on

So. I've almost got enough tramliner solenoids in the drills in the nettles. Hurrah

You could do it that way but remember to add the return to tank bits or you might choke the other pipes
