Thanks for the complement.
We are fortunate that the 19th century steading was very well built. With the addition of big doorways in the gable ends they still have mulitple uses in the 21st century.
Just reslated an 80ft x 20ft stone building put up about 1850. Cost us £2k 40 years ago to put a door in the end & concrete the floor then £7k to reslate it this year. Suspect the maintenace on a modern building will be more than that over 170 years

Is that a KKK on steroids?!
It’s a bit more like a pigtail drag with really good depth control . I’m hoping to to use it behind the combine to create a very shallow stale seed bed but also be able to cultivate Some stubbles a bit deeper where we intend to drill with our combi drills . I may be wrong but I think it will be a quite versatile bit of kit .

As we have sold our plough, we no longer need the weight so traded our 924

in for a 516. At least 2 tonnes of tractor less to compact the soil, less fuel to pull itself around, 3 years younger, next spec level up.

We appreciate the excellent, friendly service from Richard Pykett.
How long did you have the previous tractor? Think you were miss sold

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
