We don’t like to rush things…
For the last 12 years I have shorn the commercial flock after weaning, when the lambs are out of the way and the job simpler. Usually in mid-August, but can end up in September if it turns wet.

There crap in my experience, wife's had a evoque and D4 and both cost a fortune in repairs.
Probably alright if like most people you buy them on HP for 3 years and hand them back. We normally but them at 3 years.
Got a x5 now and been much better.

I was driving my discovery 4 yesterday towing thinking again how much I love that car, as above I’ve not seen anything better and no plans to change it, most 4wd stuff is expensive to run this is my third and I think they have been pretty good no more than even the cars I run to repair and maintain?

D5 are doing crankshafts already, I was once a LR owner, not now! Just as you said,
40k with new solids, altho she’s doing 45k on the road so not too shabby

£32K in 2004 with PC, cab and front suspension, and front linkage to give you an idea.. £38K?40k with new solids, altho she’s doing 45k on the road so not too shabby
Not a million miles away so. This one is R/C with full suspension. Cost me 40K Euros plus Vat, incl. the wheels and tyres.
