 You can generalize about Kiwi farmers all you like and yes quite a few like the sound of their own voice, but remember it's the quiet ones are the ones that you have to keep a watch out for, just because we're not saying anything, doesn't mean we don't know what we're doing.:sneaky::D
Why do you have to watch out for them? We are talking milking cows not some silent assasin.

I agree. They do know what they are doing, especially in NZ. But trying to jam that system in other areas while works great in some places doesn’t work in plenty others.

 I think exactly the same down here when people try to convince us about "northern hemisphere" farming practices!

Yep. I was always surprised by the number of green wagons there. Assumed they must of had some pretty sales rep that got all the farmers excited considering all I heard at the time was about the low low cost nz system.
A couple of good payout years put paid to that idea for some.

Personally I think it did the industry more harm than good, could well be wrong!

Plenty of Irish people too.

Wifes got a picture of me having a look about a 950 cow unit. Irishman, Scottishman, Welshman, Englishman and an Indian chap. Not a kiwi in sight. They must have all been at the beach. :sneaky:
I know, I'm drinking rum with an Irish lad this very minute!!
Could be a messy night

Heres an indication of how multicultural NZ is for those who don't know (although everyone knows all about NZ):
Course of 12 firefighters..
A girl from Brazil
A chap from N.Ireland
A chap from Argentina
A South African girl
7 kiwi lads
A good hard kiwi lass
:)
It ain't all brown and white kiwis over here.... regardless of stereotypes. ;)

It all sounds like the beginnings of a joke, a kiwi, an argi, and an irishman in a bar...

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
