Dale Farm have introduced a second Fixed Price Scheme. The price will be 28p for a period of 3 years starting 1st January 2019. The price will be subject to the normal quality adjustments but the volume contracted will not be eligible for the winter bonus or the loyalty bonus. Suppliers can contract either 5,10 or 15% of their supplies based on monthly production from October 2017 to September 2018.


Interesting comment from Michael Hanley after the Lakeland/Lacpatrick merger votes yesterday:

28p fixed for 3 years sounds a fair offer in current times, I'd reckon on significant uptake on that.

Lakeland seemed to integrate FV fairly smoothly, so see what happens with Lacpatrick. I don't think anyone will hide the fact Lacpatrick wasn't running on full strength, hence needing putting itself up for sale (I mean merger).
