Eighth month at grass(in 3 days start of oct). Helps to have a small herd this time of year-over 1/3 dry. But still chuffed to be out.
Want to be called Sean from now on . Pictures of topless cubicles and woodchip pad to follow.View attachment 841279

You can't beat East Tyrone. Our's will be closed up on Sunday, it was touch and go earlier in October, but it's never so bad if you can keep them out till early November.

It's all about moving up the food chain, eat or be eaten
You playing Devils advocate Z ??? Next time the milk price tanks try running faster when the high rents , contractor charges, and expansion loans have chopped your legs of at the knee. Lucky for you NI guys Sean is scared of the rain and is unlikely to show up to try his luck up your way . Yourself and Willy have got it about right use grass as much as the weather allows and always have fodder in reserve. Finally i might add most Seans wouldnt know one end of a plough from the end of his arse!! While Willy is an acomplished ploughman from the evidence on another thread so no Sean thankfully !!!!

Last of the dry cows in today, a few wee boys (R1s for us proper dairy farmers) out yet. Next week will be end of play, into added time already.

Two strapping young cows there @flatliner ??

Last night was awful. Took another 16 off today. Still have 20 big things roaming around a big bog meadow that'll have to come out start of the week. 37 of these R1 thingys hopefully cleaning up for a little while yet, but we'll see.

I came well prepared today, going by this lad's recent form. Was ready to push him down the road if necessary, but he took the hint, once he decided to come out from behind that gatepost. I wasn't going to lose this battle. Hope he doesn't win the war though.?

Nothing as tidy as that round here.;) @yin ewe is yer man, nice stuff. (y)

Shifting lumps to drier ground today after last night's wash out, the quad was getting it tight in places.
