Wet morning with me. Wife and I took the weins for an easter egg hunt round Garvagh forest and got soaked. Had a look round some ground after lunch in the tractor and think it should carry the pipe if contractor can come. Slurry not through the slats yet but not far off it

We’re only over here in Portrush and never saw any rain today 😯

Well that's half the n over silage and grazing. Getting bit damp at the end.
Prob still be a dodging match in 3 weeks trying to get the other half out!

Contractor coming tomorrow to spread some hen dung so went field walking this evening, was a whole lot better than I expected, hopefully stay dry overnight.

Weather turning again at the end of the week.

must have been some drying done yesterday all the same. Goes to show when grass cover is light it doesn’t take long to dry out this time of year. Even the heavier ground could be dried out inside of a week.

Contractor is here tonight sowing, unbelievable how the big tyres carry. Will be a few marks I'm sure but if it's anything like the slurry it's better not to miss any chances.
