I tell you what, I fell of a ladder a couple weeks ago, a week later my ribs on the side i fell were hurting, so i had to admit what I'd done
She took one look said i had shingles, so no worries on the punctured lung scenario i was imagining, text to the practice manager to go see my doc next day for drugs....a further week of pain..... but importantly I'm not bricking it at the thought of some sort of hideous rib injury, that i would be if she wasn't my vastly better half :D

you better take it easy,.....have the afternoon off
and get better soon

Dangerous things, ladders.

Does she see fear in everything you do or had she just accepted that you've chosen a suicidal occupation :D

Yes it is a wheeled welding trailer, no electric motor or anything but has a drawbar if required.

Rolling even a large gate out of the workshop to turn it over safely is easy and safer than having to do it indoors/have a gantry/testing for lola regs etc.

The other pair of wheels near the door are waiting to become part of a future creation .

The backs don`t half take some getting back on,on these waterproof watches after changing the battery.
That is jolly close to serious over-use of tools - a crime that I commit quite often according to my wife.......

However, well done for getting the battery changed, I would still be very reluctant to get a watch too wet after a battery change, they are never quite so good in my experience, perhaps I need to up my battery changing game - now where did I put that catalogue for the lathe company?

Needed a decent mobile work lamp, was going to buy a battery powered one but had a spare nordic LED work lamp that was 12-80V so wired it to work off a dewalt battery but every time i moved it the connectors pulled out so disassembled the usb charger i got free with the set and did a bit of soldering and drilling to convert it to power the work lamp (and usb ports still work!)

Felt I couldn’t post in the bodge thread..... as no balertwine or duct tape was used lol

Works really well, lasts hours and easy to use as have multiple batteries

That’s brilliant! Although I am worried that the Nordic LED lamp was more than a dedicated torch to fit the battery :banghead::ROFLMAO:

To be fair, i also made a 12V car flying lead for it too, so can uncouple the dewalt adapter and plug it into a cigarette lighter in a vehicle ..... sad I know...... but had the lamp going spare so triedto utilize it in as many ways possible

I might have to take exception to the vice. It's got posh writing on it rather than welding splatter. Shameful
