Of the 17.4 million who voted Leave, approx 1.4 million have since died

Pretty daft argument in itself, seen as remainers are also dying. However, given the younger generation are probably more likely to want to stay in the EU, I do see your point. Have another vote for all I care: I’m not convinced that the chaos of Brexit is worth it, given that half the population is going to be unhappy.

I've only scanned it quickly and one name stands out
Pasha Khandaker, (Bangladesh Caterers Association)

are you sure he should be included on your list?

Was twice elected to represent some 12,000 curry house owners. Succesful business man who started from nothing in 1979 as a Bangladeshi migrant.

We could almost write the list ourselves;all companies who can undercut EU by using dirt cheap third world labour.

And the influx of "dirt cheap EU labour" has really helped the UK economy in what way?

yes I'm aware of who he is and what body he represents. But recently he was in the news (at least on BBC London) do you know why he, and the body that he represents, was in the news recently?

Difficulty in recruiting staff due to current migration laws at a guess. We have similar complaints where I live. ;)

Wow! Such an impressive list! (Not)
I bet these people spend their days 'striking deals' and 'forging new markets' That's how Disgraced Former Defence Secretary Liam Chubby Chops Fox spends his time as he whizzes round the globe before his responsibilities catch up with him (and Adam)

Not in the same league as third world labour costs!

that's right, he's done a complete u-turn on Brexit, did so back in 2016

and about two weeks ago BBC News London sent a camera crew down to Brick Lane in East London for a quick follow up. Mr Khandarker was even more incandesent with rage than he was three years ago, and so were the other curry house owners and former owners who've had to shut up shop. As I said I haven't had a chance to scrutinise you list but that one jumped off the page because Mr Khandarker and his members are staunchly of the opinion that they were duped by the Leave campaign

Oh yes, of course, 17.4 million folk were "duped"........... would that be because Remain lost?
Having voted in both EU Referenda you may be pleased to know I changed my mind as I was better informed this time around, as were lots of others.
In `75 it was "pitched" as a Trading Arrangement, I`m sure if they had had a bus there it would have promised untold riches as part of the trading bloc.
Many of us can now see what the EU wishes to become, an all encompassing "State" where "one size fits all" and the wealthier nations subsidise the poorer ones....... and you wonder why we voted to leave? Maybe do some research on truly un-democratic workings like the Passerelle Clause.....
"The treaty also allows for the changing of voting procedures without amending the EU treaties. Under this clause the European Council can, after receiving the consent of the European Parliament, vote unanimously to:

  • allow the Council of Ministers to act on the basis of qualified majority in areas where they previously had to act on the basis of unanimity. (This is not available for decisions with defence or military implications.)
  • allow for legislation to be adopted on the basis of the ordinary legislative procedure where it previously was to be adopted on the basis of a special legislative procedure.
A decision of the European Council to use either of these provisions can only come into effect if, six months after all national parliaments had been given notice of the decision, none object to it."

Democracy in action right there!!
