Yes , sort of . Im sure we tried and made a one pass bed tiller / ridger with a stanhay air seeder unit mounted on each ridge for drilling carrots on silt land . . I think we had to loose the smearing ridge rollers though

Also done a half way house. Used to ridge swede land up early and allow first flush of weed seed. Then planted with Stanhay on the rear with ridge rollers and propane gas tanks on front with burner hoods in front of rollers. Our rollers did not smear if you look on the picture I posted earlier the rolls are like cambridge rolls but with spikes.

Yeah I thought they looked like mini Cambridge rollers I mounted rollers off an old webb machine to the front of the stanhay to firm the ridge. Was going to try mounting that yoke to the back of the ridger to do a single pass

What is the advantage of ridging for swedes, seems like a lot of work for something that will grow on the flat, does it help with pests

Used to find ridger than roller worked fine until ridger picked up wet claggy soil which sticks to the rollers and makes a mess. Hence got into the practice of ridge early and destroy the first seed flush giving clean bed to drill into.
