Long time since I’ve put osr through one. Off my head don’t go ott with the temperature and keep checking the moisture. It will stay damp for a while then drop quickly. Cool it well.

I expect somebody will come along with better advice soon :)

I use an old opico on lpg. Don’t normally run it above 220 f input For rapeWhen crop gets to about 110 F check moisture if about 10% it will dry down to about 8% without out heat and cool crop. Depends on ambient temp. Once set is pretty good.

From memory you are supposed to turn them down to 160 in the book for rape, used to do this but got chatting the guy that used to service ours & he said that there was no need to as it's always moving.
So just dried it at 200 same as barley after that, be a dozen years from we had any rape tho.
