Bone meal - too expensive for field crops though.

The trick is too raise P index before beginning conversion and keep it up with manure thereafter.

Aye up

The only source I know of for organic farmers is Gafsa (?)

Any more ideas?

Cheers, Pete.

The ground-up bones of casualties from the battle-fields of Europe used to be used as a phosphate fertiliser. But I'm not sure if that would be allowed for organic farmers??
I would check with the Soil Association etc.

I always feel that the so-called organic fertilisers based on wastes from conventional farms and farm products are a bit of a cheat. Excellent fertilisers for high value crops though particularly under protected cropping.
