Few years ago neighbour put a bigger tank in. Asked him if it had a tank washer with it. No, he says, and the one from the old tank is no good. Why's that, I said.I've got chemical, a hose and brush. Keeping my eyes open for a small auto wash unit.
My bottle filler isn't working very well on this tank.Few years ago neighbour put a bigger tank in. Asked him if it had a tank washer with it. No, he says, and the one from the old tank is no good. Why's that, I said.
Her arms aren't long enough
'I' don't bottle unless it's an emergency! Apparently I fill them too full. It was a standing job until using the bulk tank.Good to see you provide a seat
How many bottles do you do in a "sitting"
I saw one for sale recently, but like all things made of stainless and that mention 'dairy', was a bit out of my price range. There's a local company that used to make and sell dairy equipment like this and I'm told they still have the designs etc for them, I just need to learn to weld stainless.Look out for a s/h one of these.
We had a 5 valve one. Poly bottles in a crate & slide it under
It`s what we started with, just sold it last year

Saw a guy with a pipe through the big stainless steel disc stopper and something like a 10 mm silicon pipe , gravity fed . Very simple'I' don't bottle unless it's an emergency! Apparently I fill them too full. It was a standing job until using the bulk tank.

shetlands! good luck with that one. What a fantastic thread, thanks very much Tim! We are just about to buy a handful of Shetlands which I want to milk by hand and sell direct to existing customers. Currently trying to work out what kind of milking setup to have, probably going for an in-field setup so it works with the rotational grazing.
