Well I got it from a dealer in eastern Germany where a big field is not 25ha but 100ha! So you can imagine the size of farm and ha it was doing annually!

So am replacing the boots, replacing the outer part of the gauge wheel, half the press wheel bearings, and of course all the discs.
Guttlers with weights too...
no, it's not the size of fields, it's their principle of saving on Grease. Know of a farmer which always rent's his machinery. After 3years the front suspension axle of his Claas was almost falling off. They never serviced ANY grease jerks. That's more than common.
there are now 2+ NH combines with tracks sitting the 2nd year in the JD dealers yard. As the previous owner is known no one who knows the history of this combine will want to buy it. Needs to be depriciated MUCH more & heading east to find a new home. Maybe also heading to the island......

Regarding the seed tube slop we recently got a new drill and they had a tab on the outside made of 2 mm steel to help with this.

Sadly they all cracked within 200 ha but the idea is good so we made a tab out of 4 mm steel instead to do the same job. So far so good after another 200 ha.

if you need gutler weights (2.5 or 5.5kgs ones) I am having another batch laser cut next week, mine are cheaper ;-)

What thickness are yours Clive. My "Whiteler" ones were more cost effective as 2 at 12mm thick vs 1 at 20mm. Total weight on ground a little more than 15 kg (max of my spring balance) now.
