Outdoor led lights

I was thinking of buying some led lights for our calf hutches. It's not a massive space to light up but I'm looking for something better than a headtorch. I was thinking of 12v lights and run them off a battery as not near any electricity. Has anyone used any similar lights and know what's good or if I'm wasting my time. Thanks
Frank

Very interested in following this post as I have been thinking of doing the same. I was going to have a generator to charge the battery’s as and when I need to.

I’ve a few led battery powered led lights on movement sensors around the yard. I bought some expensive ones but they packed in after a year . I picked up a few in mole valley they work off AA batteries and so far seam to be ok . I was in B&M’s and they had some up for sale for £10 . They aren’t the brightest things but let you see what’s going on .

I didn't want to take the credit because the idea belongs to @Nearly. It's the Yorkshireness in us that can't waste old stuff. Besides that I'd just bought a used charger off eBay, then the gearbox exploded

A lamp I took out of the kitchen because it was flashing, put a new one in it's place and that one flashed as well, so deduced it was the driver at fault.

As a torch it's quite bright with a good spread beam, big picture is when I removed the lamp from it housing and it fitted in the front of the old drill very neatly, I've yet to figure out how to adapt the switch to keep it on all the time, or it's a case of leaving it on all the time and removing the battery to switch it off.
